65 Modern Proverbs
"This coptic bound book is an expansion of Rebuilding Expressions. I wanted to capture the zeitgeist of today's western mentality with these revised expressions. Originally, I created approximately 40 expressions that I had to reduce to 26 for the alphabet. I wanted to use them all and create more to make a book. Sixty-five modern proverbs have been split into 7 categories."

'messenger'

'messenger' light / 2008
'messenger' light allows you to project illuminated messages within the home. made from stainless steel wire and a concrete base, 'messenger' light is a small version of a spotlight. personal messages are written onto PVC film which are then magnified and projected onto the wall to be viewed. a flat lens at the end of the spotlight aids in the adjustment and focus of messages.

Hit it

Hit it
chair: 45 x 42 x h78cm,
table: h78cm, Ø 118cm;foam
''Hit it" is a series of furniture, consisting of a table and chairs. They resemble Saloon furniture from western movies, but the difference lies in the material. Hit It allows everyone to feel like a strong cowboy. Saloon fighting will now not only be fun, but safe.

Swang is a clothes hanger, which is attached to the ceiling.Produced with an 8mm sping steel stick and an covering of natural rubber, you can fix swang with the screw thread, which is at one end of stick, at any ceilings.Swang can be used single or in pride of hangers. Because of the lightness and flexibility, swang is able to carry different clothes and weights. Walking past and touching the hangers, swang starts to swing and balance.Different heights of rooms make it necessary to design swang in various lenghts like S, M, L and XL. This structure is similar to the conventional sizes of clothes.

the mail that made my day!

eMAIL:
hello,
I'm Simon Hoegsberg, a 32-year-old photographer from Denmark.
I write you because I would like you to see a photograph I've spent the last 17 months making. The photograph is 100 meters long (100 m x 78 cm), and is about the uniqueness of 'ordinary' people.
The title of the photograph is 'We're All Gonna Die - 100 meters of existence'.
I would be very pleased if you'd see the photograph, and mention it on pan-dan.
You'll find the photograph here: http://www.simonhoegsberg.com
Thank you,
+Simon Hoegsberg

Hello..

Tom Sachs's first monumental works in bronze, presenting the familiar icons “Hello Kitty,” “My Melody” (both fictional characters produced by the Japanese company Sanrio in 1974), and the small rabbit, “Miffy” (created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna in 1955).
Working from the original toys, Sachs and his assistants construct enlarged versions using sheets of lightweight foamcore and glue guns, which are then cast in bronze, and ironically painted white to resemble the white foamcore surface.
“Hello Kitty” and “Miffy” also function as outdoor fountains.

Metamorphose

Metamorphose vessels
Showcase the process based development of contemporary design.
The cooperation of computer aided design = CAD and traditional craftsmanship.
Metamorphose of formal aspects of industrial manufacturing and uniqueness which can only be achieved from traditional handmade crafts.
Metamorphose of a cylinder and one straight as well as one upside-down smaller cone in CAD, conversation through CNC lathe and traditional craftsmanship.
The shapes a computer generated, meanwhile its manufactured using crafts the improper ornament of the ridges become decoration.
The design is subsidized by the colour graduation of solid coloured porcelain compound.
The set consits of nine shapes and five colours.
The vessels can be ordered individually and in seven different colours.
