“People of today move around a lot, and therefore they often have the need to mark their territory to feel at home and create continuity”. This is the idea behind designer Maria Kirk Mikkelsen’s product “Make up the wall”, which consists of a series of aluminum stencils that enable the user to decorate the walls with different motifs. “The name refers to make-up, and the individuality that fashion represents. I would like to transfer that to the home”. “Make up the wall” comes in two different designs.
