Design:Pieke Bergmans: ‘To make the series of vases called Crystal Viruses, I draped big, hot, hollow blobs of crystal on various pieces of wood furniture. While they were cooling, they assumed the form of the wood support beneath them. I’m out to create processes that result in products that are never completely the same. Like a virus, these products change and adapt to various conditions.’
