Feldmark table
Feldmark was created with a sew in the hand while exploring construction wood - like a piece of
sculpture - without mouse or drawing pen. Originally it was built as a dinning table for a family party up to 12 people. The work was inspired by the wild beauty of construction timber and the traditional art of carpentry. It is a robust table made of seven planks assembled without nails or glue. The assembly is done by a few strong hammer strikes, which is a sensual and archaic experience. After a meeting with Magazin, this idea resulted in a serial production of this table.
