Designed by trendy duo Brothersister this is a masterful combination of modern minimalism and 18th century detail and the unusual table has been created in screen printed perspex using reflective and solid inks. It was inspired by the textile designs of James Leman 1688-1745. Leman was one of England's most prolific designers, and was based at Spitalfields in London where he produced designs for silks. exclusive to the v&A.
